Outgoing Products
The products obtained from the various plant sections and processing cycles at RMI can be marketed or reintroduced into the production cycle of steel mills and foundries and are mainly attributable to the following types:
- Iron Scrap/Proler (End of Waste)
- Steel
- Mixed Metals
- Flotation Aluminum

Iron Scrap/Proler (End of Waste)
During the process of shredding crushed vehicles and general scrap, iron is separated using electromagnets and cleaned of inert material with aspirators. The final product meets the commercial characteristics dictated by current regulations and is ready to be sent to steel mills as EOW.

Steel
Crushed mixed steel is generated from material selection using induction machines.

Mixed Metals
Mixed metals generated from the scrap shredding processes and subsequent treatment operations, mainly consisting of copper, zinc, brass, and Zama.

Flotation Aluminum
The product comes from hammer mill shredding processes, subsequent magnetic induction selection, and flotation processes. The resulting material can be used as ready-to-melt aluminum in foundries.
